SO I am reading about the Walmart strike... really annoyed. I am reading how employees are sitting throughout the store with tape over their mouth. Protesting for a higher wage. Maybe it wouldnt bother me so much if customers were treated better in the store I wouldnt be so annoyed. Maybe if I wasnt insulted every single time I shopped there I would be more sympathetic. Reading these articles... they are super generalized. I dont see mention of the AMAZING health/Dental/Vision benefits that are available to employees and their families AT a SUPER LOW RATE. I dont see mention of the TENS OF THOUSANDS of employees who do make a comfortable living wage that supports their large families. I dont see mention of the mandatory over-time that TENS OF THOUSANDS of employees HAVE to do during this time of year (gosh, that $30 a hour really stinks huh?). I dont see mention of the dozens of employee meals, lunches, parties, and events that the corporate offices provide their employees. I dont see mention of the bonus that EVERY employee gets several times a year. Walmart has been VERY good to my family. Even when Daniel was working IN the store. We are VERY thankful for #Walmart
