SOMETHING TO KNOW : FROM THE FOOTNOTES ] . [ MIXED CULTURES } A " mixed multitude " of Israelites and slaves of other nationlities and beliefs departed out of Egypt in the great Exodus . Egyptians had many people under the yoke of slavery . This intermixture of people and ideas had a strong influence upon the Israelites , causing them among other influences to seek to continue to cling to other gods besides Almighty YAH of Israel . Exodus 12 : 38 . ANOTHER ONE : { THE GREAT COMMANDMENT } In Deut . 6: 4 - 9 Moses reveals to the children of Israel the greatest of all commandments and laws that have ever been written . The African Hebrew Israelites are first commanded to hear the Word of God . When the Word of God is heard it must be obeyed and fulfilled : by so doing , the children of Irael become one with God in all things . The pressence of God is invoked by obedience to His Word , where it is read or spoken , by those that are in accordance with His divine will . One of the most eplicit descripptions of ABBA as spirit occurs in a traditional Pygmy hymn which says : " In the beginning was OUR CREATOR , TODAY IS OUR CREATOR , TOMORROW Will be OUR CREATOR . Who can make an image of ALMIGHTY YAH ? He has no body . He is a word which comes out of your mouth . that word It is no more , it is past , and still it lives ! So is ABBA YAH !" Therefore one must strive diligently to draw near to God for this oneness is to " love THE MOST HIGH with all of your heart , soul , and might ." This love is a complete love in which ABBA is first in every thought and the stimulus behind every action . Deuteronomy 6 : 4 - 6 ] .
