SUPER SPOILERS: QUESTIONS that Dark Water brings up: > > > > > > > > > Not really sure if the dark water really served any purpose except being a clever cloaking device. Not really sure why they just didnt bring back the Rani. She was a good villain and she did the same sort of experiments back in the day that Missy was doing with the Cybermen. So the reveal that Missy is The Master was just Moffat pulling a Khan; of course referring to JJ Abrams terrible reveal in the new Star Trek movie where everyone is in the movie was like Khan?? Who? Now, of course, The Master has body-jacked people in the past, so I guess this time his victim was a woman, a Time Lord. But the big question is how did the Master break the Transduction barriers, steal a slice of The Timelord Matrix, and a Timelord body, and essentially pull off the toughest heist of all time? This is because The Master would have had to traveled back to BEFORE, or DURING the Time War. Or maybe perhaps Missy found Gallifrey, which is just as unlikely as him/her breaking through the Transduction Barriers and the rest of the temporal baffles and other tech designed to keep everyone out of Gallifreys timeline. The Master has infiltrated The Matrix (and Gallifrey) on several occasions, so thats not the big deal. The big deal would be smashing through the Transduction Barriers setup to prevent Time Lords from traveling back in Gallifreys own timeline. The only time that realistically would be the moment to pull off such a heist would be right during the Time War. But, Im the most interested in the story of how the original Mondasian/Telosian Cybermen fit into the scheme of things. https://youtube/watch?v=JmhDybAyP3o
