Sad and somber day today, getting ready to lay my cousin Ruth Ann Edwards to rest later on this evening! She fought a long hard fight and is an inspiration to me in my battle to get better! I wrote her once on here sharing that inspiration with her and I never got a reply and one day I asked her about it and in her sweet voice she said "Jamie I never looked at myself as anyones inspiration, I am just me and if someone can draw inspiration from that then I hope it does them some good." She said she held onto that message in her inbox but I guess now I will never know maybe writing that letter to her we became an inspiration to one another in some small way. I am just blessed to have such a BIG loving family! let us look at all our recent losses as inspiration to get together more, and spend more time together during happy times, share the old with the new and keep the Smith tradition going and keep passing it along as it was passed to us!
