Saddened to hear about the passing of Governor Jim Edwards. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family during this difficult time. Around this time last year I was in Charleston touring MUSC, a remarkable institution that benefited greatly from the Governors vision and leadership. MUSC is just one of the many examples of how Gov. Edwards left a positive impact on our state and nation. South Carolina has lost a great leader.
