Santan Cubs and Beavers visited St Georges Church last - TopicsExpress

Santan Cubs and Beavers visited St Georges Church last night. The visit formed part of the Faith badges and the children got a tour of the very interesting graveyard and then a look around the Church itself all lead by the Archdeacon. The most exciting part was the trip up the bell tower and a demonstration by the bell ringers. Watching the bells toll while they were being played was awesome although the bells weren’t as allowed as I thought they would be and there were no bats in the belfry! I think we have some future bell ringers in the making once they are tall enough to reach the ropes! A huge thank you to all at St Georges Church.
