Saturday 8 June 2013 Heavenly father, almighty God, creator of heaven and earth, all knowing, all powerful, merciful and loving God, thank you for who you are. Thank you for Salvation through the cross. I appreciate what you’ve done in providing us the opportunity to reconnect with you after the fall of Adam and Eve. Everything you did out of necessity to bring about the event that brought us Salvation was eternally sighted and done in love. Making examples of nations, and doing away with the threats too your plan was a sacrifice you had to make that we couldn’t be grateful enough for. Your love truly is immeasurable and infinite. We must seek you and come to know you as you are the living water. You are our source for life and apart from you, we are empty and forever seeking to replace you with the lies of this world. There is nothing that can replace the joy we experience through a relationship with you. I pray we can purify ourselves and become more like you to relate to you and come to KNOW you. At times we sit and wonder about the limited providence of the world to fuel our happiness. We self-inflict our joy by looking in the wrong direction for it. A direction that has nothing to offer but instant gratification. The world is empty without your love, and no matter how hard we fight sometimes to deceive ourselves with things we think we need, in times of honesty with ourselves we are always lead back to You as the only true source. I pray for forgiveness for our decisions apart from your will. Self destructive inflictions that make us like bowls constructed of lies that cannot hold your water. It’s only by keeping our eyes on you that we can see past the lies. It takes sacrifice of those instant gratifications to keep on the path too a TRUE FULFILLING LIFE in community with all those living in your name. So why do we battle Lord? The world is constantly bombarding us with lies that are dressed up and sugar coated. How can that compete with your true love? How are we so easily deceived?? We need to learn to TRUST you. TRUST your providence of all things material and spiritual that we require. It was a promise from you that we can trust you in this. We need to trust you to provide our inner strength when we want to fill ourselves with pride in defensiveness which only presents a poor attitude. We need attitudes of love when we are challenged, and only you can give us that peace and patience when we are under such pressure. All we have to sacrifice is our reliance on the world and we will attain you absolute providence. We battle because we are born into a tangible world and need to rely on intangible solutions. We are born experiencing a world with all 5 senses so it’s easy to conclude that from what we physically experience in a physical world requires physical solutions. This leads too a battle that requires a selfish mentality because the battle is fierce and requires all our strength to overcome. When we accept that You are our strength and provider in how to cope with the world, our fight is no longer with the world, but with us separating from it and coming too our intangible God to take over. You battle through us to defeat the world. We must become a pure vessel for You to fight through to overcome the world with love. It’s entirely our responsibility to open the gates to our lives as you are there waiting to enter like a consuming fire to burn the lies making room to fill us with your truth. We must take the step in faith that the tangible offers no true solutions to spiritual problems. Spiritual problems are the source of every deficiency in the world, from which stems all the tangible problems. It’s up to us to accept your word by reading and learning it, meditating on it and living by it. It’s through our acceptance of Your truth provided in Your word that You are enabled to work through us. According to the laws of the spirit, we have freewill, and with this you can only operate through us when we allow it. Father, I allow you to work through me, but me stating this this moment only allows you to work through this moment. Father, I will work to enable you throughout every moment and test of my life. Thank you for your mercy and patience as we tend to be weak in this. Your love overcomes all. Lord I pray for those I may help come to you. I pray you give me the words to speak to their spirits. I will work to become a living example of you that they may see you through my actions and attitude. My soul desire is to serve you by bringing more of your children to love you. I pray that I maintain that soul desire above any tempting selfish desires. I also pray for the faith to heal both physically and spiritually, and to bring that power into others lives, as it is your will for us to be healed and taken care of both physically and spiritually. By the blood of Yeshua I thank you, and in Yeshua’s name I pray, amen.
