Saturday, March 22, 2014--Grow Native! Plant Sale in Jefferson City Six native plant vendors will have a wide variety and quantity of native plants, shrubs, and trees for sale at the Grow Native! Plant Sale at Runge Conservation Nature Center in Jefferson City. 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This will be the 10th year of the Missouri Department of Conservations Runge Conservation Nature Center hosting a native plant sale. Address and directions to Runge Nature Center This years sale will feature six vendors--all Grow Native! Professional Members: Missouri Wildflowers Nursery of Brazito, Mo. Forrest Keeling Nursery of Elsberry, Mo. DJM Ecological Services of Wentzville, Mo. Prairie Hill Farm of Auxvasse, Mo. Gaylenas Garden of Fulton, Mo. Ozark Berry Farm of Leasburg, Mo. There will be a wide variety and large quantity of native wildflowers, grasses, sedges, shrubs, vines, and trees to purchase for your landscaping needs. In addition, free native landscaping literature will be available. Bring your family---they can visit the wonderful exhibits and take part in activities in the Runge Conservation Nature Center or hike the lovely trails while you shop. These Grow Native! vendors will be donating a portion of their sale proceeds to benefit MPFs Grow Native! native plant education program.
