Saw 300-II last night. Wanted to write detailed review, but its not worth it. Instead here are 10 reasons why not to watch it. 01. It ends before it actually starts. 02. No plot. Story can be summed up in 2 sentences. same with the 300 but there was suspense till the end. in this movie we already know the ending. as a said it ends before it starts. :D 03. Bad screenplay, they keep reminding how AMAZING the previous part was for every two three minutes. The 300 did that.. the 300 did tha... the 300 di.. ENOUGH!! I didnt come here to watch first one again!!! 04. The guy who played the lead role, Themistokles, who is he ? He is like male kristen stewart in this movie. In war, during meetings, while making love his face has the same expression thought out the movie. 05. Eva green doesnt look as youd expect, so fans might be diasppointed. (im one of them :() 06. cinematography is good but, it didnt look right for action epic. Cool colors and all didnt appeal, at least to me. felt like watching disney live action movie (alice in wonderland and such) wit with forced bloodshed. 07. Everytime there was blood on the screen me and friends just giggled. :D Its stupid, no physics at all. I dont think he understood the word exaggeration. 08. bad characterization, When you have to shoot, just shoot! Dont talk. 09. Director tried to copy snyders style for every frame. Who cares, if the producers wanted snyders style why not let HIM do it ? and Father- son sentiment on battlefield again ? Seriously ? LAME! 10. No memorable dialogue, except for one You fight harder than you f**k for which Im giving 1 star. My rating 01/10. The thing that annoyed me most is the VFX, the characters, camera movement everything looked like cut scenes taken out from some popular successful video games. Stay home,, Watch Hero(2002) or Red Cliff(2008) or 300. :)
