Say what you will about the cubs. Everyone knows that were not going after big talent and that theyre going to use their farm system for development for the future. With the exception of pitching prospects theyve got the best farm system in all of baseball. YES WE WE WILL FINISH LAST IN THE NL CENTRAL THIS YEAR. So while your shit talking is as comparative to a person making fun of a quadriplegic in a foot race, you really have no argument. Cubs fans are TRULY loyal to their team. Were not part time fans. Were not ones who go out and buy other teams merchandise. Yes, Im talking about you Cecil. We dont say were a fan but only pay attention when were winning. Again Im talking about you Cecil. We do have hope. Why shouldnt we? Law of averages says eventually we will win. Talk all the trash you want but I bet you couldnt tell me everyone that was on your team in 2005 without googling it. So talk trash all that you want, but at the same time grab a notebook and a pencil, keep your mouth shut, take notes, and see what TRUE fans really are, because we LOVE our team wether theyre winning or losing, and not only when its convenient.
