Section 144 imposed in Doda & Kathua To avoid any untoward incident, District Magistrate (DM) Kathua & District Magistrate (DM) Doda, Mubarak Singh today issued order in exercise of the power vested in them under section 144 Cr PC and imposed prohibition orders in the towns and areas falling in their jurisdiction of district Kathua & Doda. Under these orders prohibition has been imposed on protest, demonstration and procession and gathering of five or more persons. However, this order shall not apply to the uniform personnel performing law and order duties, to the employees of Department of essential services departments like electricity, PHE, health etc and also on funeral processions and the children/staff participating in rehearsals of I-Day, 2013.
