September 2014 Dear Friends: It is my privilege to invite you to participate in The Mark Thallander Foundation’s New England Choral Festival: Fall Festival of Thanksgiving Sunday, October 5, 2014 • 6:00 P.M. BASILICA OF SAINTS PETER AND PAUL Lewiston, Maine The Festival Choir will perform a wide range of inspirational choral literature under the direction of one of America’s finest choral conductors and clinicians, the Reverend Thomas R. Matrone from Springfield, Missouri. Returning as our magnificent Festival accompanists are organist Brett Alan Judson and pianist Darlene Matrone. We are grateful to have this Festival at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul. A special thanks to Scott Vaillancourt for enabling the Foundation to offer sacred music in the sacred space of the majestic Basilica as we celebrate the tenth anniversary of basilica status! Thanks, also, to Kathy Haley of nearby Court Street Baptist Church for assisting us with Festival details! See below for the Festival repertoire list. Private message me for a registration form or email me at markthallander@aol. Please respond as soon as possible with your acceptance of this invitation. We would also appreciate hearing from you if you are not able to join us. We have been blessed in recent years at our 25 Festivals in California, Hawaii, Maine, Massachusetts, Missouri and in Canada by the wonderful participation of excellent choirs and directors. Most of all we are thankful for the level of integrity with which the choirs prepare, participate and empower this ministry. Please prayerfully consider joining us for our 26th Festival: New England Fall Festival of Thanksgiving. We anticipate a Spirit-filled concert of worship and music. Best wishes and blessings to you in this 2014 season. Soli Deo Gloria!
