Several years ago I wrote and had an article published in a nationally known sewing magazine (Notions) the article was called KeepingTrack. It was all about keeping track of the things you sew (or craft). Basically to let yourself see in writing what you have accomplished. Long story short I have been doing this for about 15 years. The early years I just used a spiral notebook, when it was used up I tossed it. I wish I had kept all those list, hind sight you know is 20/20. Later on I started keeping my list in a hard bound journal. It never ceases to amaze me when I look back. I encourage all of my sewing friends and students to keep track, it is the biggest personal pat on the back anyone can give you and if you do keep track it is you, taking care of you! I tell everyone it is for your benifits! Only you can choose to share it or not. Now no one has asked but here is my list so far this month: 1. Embroidered whole cloth baby quilt 49 red work designs and babys name 2. One t shirt quilted for a customer (I only did the quilting on this one) 3. - 14. Thats 12 items) knitted and/or crochet hats for the chemo clinic 15. - 29. Thats 15 items) fleece blankets for the chemo clinic 30. ITH change purse 31. ITH cell phone wallet Not bad for the first 14 days of the year, what do you think? Where is your list?
