Shared from Mukurima X Muriuki:::::The older I get, the wiser I tend to see my grandfather become. He used to tell me,that a hyena can only enter the compound via the hole created by the family dog. In fact he would sometimes sing a song to the effect that if you do not take care of the betrayal from within,he will attack you as you deal with the enemy from without. We have been attacked as a country. Innocent Kenyans have lost their lives. We however, face the sad reality that in all these attacks; Westgate, illicit brews, Mpeketoni, there is a Kenyan who has betrayed the country and allowed the attackers to plan and execute the evil deeds. You may pick the angle that satisfies your ego as to who the mastermind was or the motive behind the attacks but one thing remains; There was a hole created by a Kenyan for the attacks to thrive. Our enemy is not China. Our enemy is not the West. You and I are the number one enemy to Kenya. I have not seen the Chinese social media say that Raila should be killed. I have not seen the social media of the West say Uhuru must go. The citizens of those countries care less about Kenya. If Kenya burns they take control of our country; if we dont, they will still find a way of forcing things on us. You and I however, need each other. Finally, you may get the best Cabinet Secretary for security that ever existed. You may even hire Donald Rumsfeld or Robert Gates, but if we are not interested in making Kenya a secure place, not for tourists sake but for ourselves and our children, such men even with their beautiful resumes can never achieve anything or make Kenya more secure.
