Shoalhaven locals were treated to a stunning display at the Nowra Show earlier this year with paramedics and emergency services teaming up to demonstrate how they respond to a motor vehicle collision. The scenario in the showgrounds main arena involved two victims (who were actually volunteers from the SES) and a wrecked vehicle (provided by the local auto wreckers). Nine NSW Ambulance staff volunteered their time to show the audience how we respond, including paramedics, intensive care and special operations paramedics from Bomaderry and two motorcycle paramedics from the Sydney Ambulance Centre.
