Shocking that anyone would suggest this. I saw Paulie in spring last year. He was in phenomenal form on every hit and more, for nearly 3 hours. He sang with inflexions more nuanced than the original versions. Accompanying himself on classical guitar while perched on a riser up 30-40 feet, he was incredibly moving. This was the emotional HERE TODAY, dedicated to John. Who else could do that? He may have had some vocal issues, which anyone who’s smoked would, but he’s overcome them. Amazing, truly incredible musician. So keep up the great music-making, Paul! Just one strong encouragement: give away those billions to create the peaceful, free, just, loving, art-full, organic, non-toxic and microwave radiation-free world John envisioned! You can do it!
