Sibanye Gold is offering learnership to leaners who have completed or are about to complete their tertiary qualifications and who reside in the communities and labour sending areas Learnership conditions: Engineering applicants should preferably have the relevant N2 qualifications to be trained in the trades listed below. Trades to be trained: Diesel Mechanic – required subjects: N2 Mathematics, N2 Engineering Science, N2 Engineering Drawings, N2 Diesel Mechanic Trade Theory. Rigger / Ropesman – required subjects: N2 Mathematics, N2 Engineering Science, N2 Engineering Drawings, N2 Rigger Trade Theory. Plater / Welder – required subjects: N2 Mathematics, N2 Engineering Science, N2 Plating and Structural Steel Drawings, N2 Plate’s Trade Theory. Fitting (incl. machining) – required subjects: N2 Mathematics, N2 Engineering Science, N2 Engineering Drawing, N2 Fitting including Machining Trade Theory. Electrical – required subjects: N2 Mathematics, N2 Engineering Science, N2 Industrial Electronics or N2 Engineering Drawings, N2 Electrical Trade Theory. Selection and Screening: All applicants will be subject to a formal selection process which may include assessments and a medical examination.
