Sincere thanks for all your love and good wishes - its been overwhelming in a good way ❤️. We are readjusting to life on the outside and enjoying our new found freedom 😊. It comes with its limits - we must remain within a 30 minute radius of the hospital (we feel very fortunate that our house is within this radius - there are many families who are not allowed to go home for 3 months because they are not inside this radius, & so live in one of the charity-run apartments near the hospital). Amy is also not allowed in crowds ie school, shops etc as we need to be sure anyone near her is not sick. This is because she is on immunosuppressants (which make her highly susceptible to infections) to ensure the transplant remains successful. This morning, we took Amy putt putting and it was sooo great being outdoors in this beautiful weather and seeing Amy so happy!
