Sioux-z and I are proud to host the third annual SSPT Invitational Powerlifting Championships (sanction MD-2014-03) on August 3, 2014. This competition has been, is, and will likely continue to be primarily a developmental meet aimed at first and second-time novices. The focus of this in-house meet is grooming beginners along in a familiar, friendly atmosphere, where they can compete using world-class equipment in front of national referees. Occasionally, well also have a few experienced lifters participate who may need a meet to qualify for something else. This adds depth to the field and helps demonstrate to novices of whats possible with consistent, hard work applied over time. We appreciate your encouragement, interest, and support but, as the title implies, this is an invitation-only competition and the roster is already full.
