Sixth Kabaddi world cup 2015 finals to be held at Jalalabad-Sukhbir Badal (Says Jalalabad stadium amongst the best in Punjab) (Announces cultural, music & film award functions also to be organised in this stadium) (Wants to develop Jalalabad as a model constituency) Jalalabad (Fazilka), December 16: Deputy Chief Minister Mr Sukhbir Singh Badal today announced that the finals of Sixth Kabaddi World Cup 2015 would be organised next year at Multipurpose Sports Stadium, Jalalabad. He said that by hosting Kabaddi World Cup matches at this stadium in Jalalabad, the town is already on the international sports scene. He said that the Multipurpose Sports Stadium at Jalalabad is amongst top five sports stadiums in the state. He said that this particular stadium has been constructed because people of Jalalabad are sports lovers. He said that for the Sixth Kabaddi World Cup 2015 finals, more facilities would be added to this stadium. Mr Sukhbir Singh Badal received a rousing welcome the moment he reached the Multipurpose Sports Stadium, here on Tuesday. While addressing the spectators, Mr Sukhbir Singh Badal said that he is indebted to the people of Jalalabad who have always rewarded him and his family with lots of love and affection. He said that problems of Jalalabad residents are his own problems. Most of your problems have already been resolved and few which are left would also be redressed very soon, he said while addressing the jam packed stadium. The Deputy CM said that cemented roads would be constructed in all villages of Jalalabad constituency and this would get complete within next 15 months time. Terming himself as Advocate of people of Jalalabad, the Deputy CM promised that all their problems would be resolved very soon. The Deputy CM said that RO systems have already been provided in all villages of the constituency and the construction work of stadium at Fazilka is also going on at large scale. He said that District Administrative Complex at Fazilka will complete within one year.
