So I got to talk to Christian today for his birthday and was immediately frustrated! He said I can post the info so here goes... Chris has been working on completing his high school diploma so he can get started on his college / certification when he gets transferred to McLaren. Rules at McLaren are that GED doesnt count it must be diploma and since they dont offer one there it must be completed before transfer. So Chris was told his required courses and credits. With his advanced level of learning and time allotted. .. they altered the courses with principals approval. Well the graduation ceremony was to be the 12th... he worked so hard!! (54 book reports etc... ) They gave approval and set up the graduation. .. well trying to get the info on time and such they still wouldnt give the details. So Christian was actually approached by the principal this morning and told that He doesnt like how Chris was so fast and just doesnt feel it should count. Not only did he do all required but Chris earned 2 1/2 credits MORE THAN THEY REQUIRED! I had to promise not to call them until the supervisor finds out what is going on. Chris is determined that if they decide that he needs to redo it all and take the year and a half it should be. Chris is going to throw in y he town and give up. He is so broken and discouraged. ... He asked that I let everyone know so I will be updating as I learn more. So many hurdles and I try to use every one of them to share Gods love with him but every time he states he is not going to praise a God That Can Hurt Him But Say He loves him. Asking for wisdom and strength for all. I know God has huge plans for him. Plus... its on his 21st birthday for goodness sake!
