So I was in the lounge tonight at work; which is first come, first serve seating. I had a friend come in and wanted to sit at my table. I told him I had a table getting up and to grab it when they left, so he stood close by ready to snatch it up. As the previous table was still in the process of leaving, this nasty (behavior wise) rude lady runs and slides into the booth before my friend could take a step to the table. She then tells him its her table she sat there first. He said very politely they had been waiting for this table because they requested my service. She rudely told him to get over it and find another table cause she got there first. After seeing this whole ordeal (and obviously wanting nothing more than to punch her in the face for being an ass) I still politely and most normally greeted the table like nothing happened. Before I could get a word out, she inconsiderately trampled over my words by stating, that guy tried to tell me this table was reserved for him. I said well maam, they were waiting for this table because they requested that I wait on them simply explaining his remark to her. She proceeds to be a pompous ass and says well then he can just request you out there somewhere! (Referring to outside the lounge which wasnt even my section, dummy!) I told her, politely yet again, that I was only in the lounge and they were waiting for this table specifically for me. She then had the nerve to say, well then should WE request a DIFFERENT server then? To my astonishment, having never been spoken to like this before in my life told her I didnt know what the problem was and proceeded to greet them like normal before rudely interrupted. I gave them great service, in hopes of killing with kindness. They ended up sitting there for 2 and a half hours, drinking beer and being filthy towards me, all the while Im still smiling and being as friendly as I can be. Their bill ended up being $96 dollars.... And gave me a $4 tip. Not even a 5% tip. Thank you for ruining a girls entire day, humiliating me, and wasting my time! I make $2.13 an hour!! I have over $1000 worth of monthly bills! And you want me to live off of your FOUR DOLLARS as you took up one of my tables half the night, leaving me with a 2 table section? Next time, take your $4 and shove it up your ass because I dont want your crumby money. I pray these people cant sleep tonight thinking about their behavior towards their innocent server. How can theyre be such cruel people in this world? 😡 *end rant* goodnight Facebook! And please spread the word to BE NICE TO YOUR SERVERS WHEN YOU GO OUT TO EAT AND THEY WAIT ON YOU HAND AND FOOT!!!! thanks :)
