So, Jesse Ventura, sued [the estate] of Chris Kyle. Chris Kyle, a former SEAL, proclaimed hero and author, that wrote a popular autobiography, in which he claims to have punched Ventura in the face for saying bad things about the SEALs. Interesting side-note... Ventura was also a SEAL. . Kyle was murdered in 2013, mid-litigation (unrelated). . Ventura felt that he had been irreparably harmed by the defamation in Kyles book. Ventura testified that he had been made into a pariah, falsely and unfairly. . A jury, agreed. They awarded Ventura $1.8 million in damages, against Kyles widow and children. . Ventura is now hated and utterly despised by many of his former supporters, because he sued an American Heros widow. He is receiving numerous death threats, and is being crucified on the Internet, exponentially worse than he ever was for the mention in Kyles book. . Both sides litigated. Everyone lost. . Mediate? F*ck that. Were going to court! To kick court-ass!! Courty-court! YAY COURT. . Litigating against the widow of fallen war hero, on a case that youll very likely win. What could possibly go wrong? . No jury would EVER enter a judgement against the poor widow of a hero American Navy SEAL. Right? What could possibly go wrong?
