So YES I have been feeling a little nostalgic today. As you have seen in my posts today its been 12 years since the release of the first Brand New Sin album. At first I think, WOW its been 12 years ALREADY and then part of me sits and thinks MAN a LOT has happened in the past 12 years!! When I first joined the band in September 2001 I had NO IDEA what kinda of ride it would be. The 7 years I had with that band and the memories that were made are PRICELESS to me. I got to see the world, play in front of a lot of people, share the stage with a ton of cool bands AND some of my childhood idols, play some legendary venues, made some amazing friends, got to be in a movie and even sing a song for a WWE Superstar!! Very few people get the chance that I and the guys had. And for that I feel VERY BLESSED!! And since I have left the band my career has gotten even BUSIER. Albeit on a much smaller level but I have carved my own niche and been able to earn a good living doing what I LOVE!! To make a career as a musician is incredibly hard and downright INSANE, but I wouldnt have it any other way. It is why I am here on this crazy blue ball we call Earth and I plan to keep making music until the day I die!!! All in all in the past 12 years I have (between all my projects) released 7 full length albums and 3 EPs!! And been featured on a handful of compilation albums!! So when I look back on it all its been a very crazy and VERY productive 12 years. So to wrap this up before I babble on and on, I want to thank the guys ( Brian Slider Azzoto, Kris Wiechmann, Michael Rafferty, Chuck Kahl, Kenny Dunham) for giving this kid a chance!! It all started with you guys!! Heres to the next 12 years and to making a LOT more music!!! :) Gnight Yall!!
