So after 21 years of diving I have decided that the time has finally come for me to hang up my trunks. I cant even begin to describe what an amazing career I have had so far representing my country. Being stood on that springboard in front of thousands of people in the stands and millions on tv really made me realise what life as an elite athlete is all about. We are like no other!! A certain breed, a special breed of person that will sacrifice anything and everything for that one special moment. A lifetime of hard work has gone in to my sport over the years and I have had the most amazing time ever. Travelling the world, competing, making new friends , it has all been part of the package which has made me. What ever I have done in my life so far has made me who I am today and I am so happy that all of you out there got to experience it with me . This message is to say thank you to all my fans friends and family near and far, to all of my diving family wherever you are around the world, you have made all of this worth it. I cant thank everyone who has played a part in me succeeding in my career but you know who you are when you read this message. So the end of an era and now the new exciting challenges await .
