So after I got over the why would you want to do that, I actually had the opportunity last week to climb the water tower and inspect the restoration, interior coating and outside painting myself. And, I climbed all 160 feet myself (yes, 104 rungs to the outer walkway). Thanks to our contractors for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get up-close to maybe a rather obscure part of municipal public works.
