So after reading a status of one of my friends on here, I just realized it has been over 6 years since I have quit smoking! I started smoking when I was 16, then quit each time I was pregnant, then once my parents died 6/7 years ago, I quit cold turkey and havent even thought about it! Just knowing that my dad died from COPD and my mom always had breathing problems, I just wanted to be around longer for my children, and be able to keep up with them. If anyone is struggling on quit smoking, just know it can be done, if you really want it to.
