So due to the move this week, I didnt get to record an Artistic Friday video blog post, but I will combine Throwback Thursday #TBT with Artistic Friday and post a recording here from 5 years ago of one of my favorite moments ever as a singer. I got the chance to perform this solo from Urinetown with Celebration Singers in NJ, a fantastic ensemble that I got to sing with for 3 and a half years, and direct for the first half of last year. It fits with my 2015 theme too of Enjoy the Ride What I learned from this performance in 2009 is two things: A. How much I LOVE performing musical theater B.
