So here is Sebastian at clinic today after finding out some bad news.... that because of the storm he had two options... get admitted or come later this week to clinic another 2 times.... this week sebastian is supposed to start his next cycle of chemo which includes another spinal tap (where they inject the chemo directly into his spine)... we were supposed to do this today and tomorrow but because of the storm he will not be able to get his spinal tomorrow.... so the two option were that they start the chemo today and admit him to the hospital and he gets the spinal tap tomorrow then is stuck there Tuesday night because of the storm and possibly come home wednesday.... or option two come back another two days later that week.... OBVIOUSLY we chose option 2.... at least clinic wasnt a total waste today we found out Sebastians counts were all good... his hemoglobin was a little low at 7.8 but i refused a blood transfusion because sebastian is running around like crazy and he usually can go down to about 6.8 before he needs one.... so now were home waiting for all the snow and just hoping to not lose power.... but we ALWAYS lose power even for the smallest storms... but its okay sebastian made sure we are stocked up on all the necessary snow storm foods!!!! Aka snacks & more snacks!!! Oh and dont forget the chocolate milk!!! I luv this kid!!! Stay safe and warm everyone!!! #greenlight4sebastian #kidsgetcancertoo #weneedacure
