So, things are a little crazy around here. Peyton and I headed to Duke again today for a platelet count. Unfortunately, the IVIG treatment she had on Saturday did not help her to bring up her platelets. They are still 64,000. The plan is still for us to go to the hospital in the morning. She will have a platelet transfusion first thing, then they will do another set of labs. Depending on those labs, she will then go to surgery. I just feel so bad that she is having to be stuck so many times. It was harder when she was smaller, but even harder now, because she says, Mommy, bye-bye, please. I think Im going to need more strength than ever to get through this. She is so pitiful, because she knows whats coming and starts crying way before they even put in a needle or IV. Please pray for Peytons strength as well as ours. Its tough on all of us. Lillie and Gracie are even having a hard time because they are scared we will have to go away again. Ive tried to assure them that we are not going anywhere, but I understand their anxiety after being separated from us for 13 months. We have been here many, many times before and God always brings each of us through. I know this time will be no different. Please say a prayer for our baby girl in the morning. We have to be at Duke at 7:30 am. I will do my best to update during surgery. Thank you all for your love, support, and prayers. Sending love to each of you.
