So, tomorrow is Sept. 11. I know exactly where I was that - TopicsExpress

So, tomorrow is Sept. 11. I know exactly where I was that morning. Perhaps the most frightening day I have known in my 57 years. America under attack. So much distruction. So much sadness. Glued to the TV when I got home, partially because I needed to be informed, partially for morbid curiosity, but mostly because I was terribly sad and over whelmed with what I was witnessing. I will never forget the absolute stillness. Nothing was moving. I really believed it was the last time I cried. Our world has not improved since then. People are the same, if not worse, our leadership is far worse, and our threats to our liberties and our way of life are now internal as well as external. I am so glad my line ends with me and I feel bad for those who have children and grandchildren and great grand children and the worries you must have for them all. I pray for those who were lost that day. I hope they found peace and happiness in their new world. I pray for those who were left behind, and I hope they have found peace and acceptance on what could not be stopped. But mostly, I pray that some one will come forward, be a peace maker and a leader, and make our world a better place. I hope someone can do this for all the children. I pray it will be so.
