Solar activity is currently moderate with an M2.4 solar flare detected around new sunspot 1897. The active region is in close proximity to sunspot 1895, but deemed to be magnetically independent from one another. Sunspot 1890 is fairly stable as it continues to transit the southwest quadrant. There will remain a chance for at least moderate M-Class solar flares around both sunspots 1890 and 1897. All other visible regions remain stable. Old sunspot 1875 is now located just behind the east limb and will begin to rotate back into view within the next 24-48 hours. 4 solar flares were observed today so far. Stay tuned for updates.
