Some great rhetoric from a fired up Bill Shorten here. Even got public gallery applause particularly around If you want an election, try us! Not sure what on earth Abbott and Hockey were thinking with this budget given that their vicious attack on pensioners, unemployed, poor, public sector doesnt even add to much savings at all. Of course, they were never going to take on things like superannuation concessions, negative gearing etc where the real savings are...but thats cause its like, you know, were not in a budget emergency. Ultimately, the cruelty towards the vulnerable exposes their thinly veiled ideology. I just hope that Abbott is so out of touch with reality right now that he calls a double dissolution! Bring it! :-)
