Some of the most advanced cultures are actually Shamanic tribes, and they also have elders who are enlightened philosophers to make their decisions as well. it is hard to put yourself in the life of a shaman, it is such a different society than ours, they can see right through our warship of the materialistic status quo and they find us primitive because of it. We cannot fathom this because our belief systems are trained to put value in THINGS rather then what really matters...shamans see that which we can take beyond the grave, because they do not have beliefs that block their spiritual potential.
