Someone just asked me why there is such a rise in interest in shamanism. Here are my thoughts. Maybe youd like to share yours, dear friends. As the situations in the world worsen people have more pressure to find their own balance or at least, comfort. Nature gives us strength, wisdom and calmness, food, water, air...This sounds simple but I want to magnify just one aspect of our own nature as part of Nature....only logical that would be so but there are many philosophies that have worked hard to deny it. The Schuman resonance vibrates at about 7.8 hertz. Lewis B. Hainsworth was among the first to suggest that human health is linked with geophysical parameters by way of the naturally occurring Schumann ELF (extremely low frequencies). This is NASAs animation of that effect. His hypothesis identified naturally occurring features which determine the frequency spectrum of human brain-wave rhythms. He concluded that the frequencies of human brain-waves evolved in response to these signals. If the hypothesis is correct, conditions for evolutionary changes in human brainwave patterns have been established by this and other energetic forms in Nature. The Schuman Resonance is only one part of the web of Life that constantly informs and rejuvenates us. The shamanic tradition is the culture that is most aligned with our connection to Nature and has a history (mostly unwritten of course) of 40,000 years in which to gather and convey its wisdom. One of the shamanic traditions passed down to me is called Bringing the Jaguar Down from the Tree. This is to reset the human body to the frequency of the Schuman Resonance. One of the exercises I teach in the shamanic apprenticeship, it seems to me, heals and increases the strength of this resonance. https://youtube/watch?v=loav4Ru7PqQ
