Someone returned my phone call about a home today. Here’s how the conversation went: Mr: “Would you like to come do a walk-through now?” Me: “I wanted to ask about your pet policy first.” Mr: “I do have one. I don’t allow any predator-type animals.” Me: “Could you elaborate on what you classify as a predator-type, please?” Mr: “You know.. a pit bull, rottweiler, those kind.” Me: “I actually own a pit bull; a canine, not a predator. Have a good day, though.” What I wanted to say: “My dog is more intelligent than you’ll ever imagine of being. A little less television and a few more books.. I pray for people like you.” Look out ya’ll, my T-Rex of a dog is on the hunting, slaying, raiding prowl for your blood!
