Something I discussed with a good friend today: what if we replaced most words, where it makes sense, that are used to indicate the obtaining, or receiving of some item with the word Earn, take it in whatever tense you require. Example: I will have enough money to buy a nicer car one day. Instead we say: I will earn enough money to buy a car one day. By earn of course I mean to provide your goods and or services in exchange for compensation. I think there is a broken fundamental in America with this sense of entitlement. Youre entitled to earn a living, not to have a living you didnt earn. Just a thought.....
