Something to be careful of. Doing some maintenance on the 02 RT. Pulled off all the plastics and the side panels that mount the pegs, shifter, and brake pedal. Wanted to inspect and clean underneath. While putting them back on the wire to the rear brake light switch got caught beneath the plate. When I torqued down the screws it tore the cable up. I discovered this when bleeding the ABS. Symptoms were, brakes seemed normal but servos didnt actuate when rear brake pedal depressed. Also, rear brake lights didnt come on. You can see the damage in the photos. I was able to fix the cable with a soldering gun and some heat shrink tubing. Be extra careful putting that panel back on. This can happen pretty easily I think.
