Sometimes, we must give honor to the one who deserves it. I met this man on Facebook. He did not force me to accept his believes. He told me, I will teach you what I know and what I dont know, I resist to teach you. He said, all that I want you know is to believe in your self, be bold and even criticize me if you think I am wrong. This is how I learned from him. He is a Hebrew who do not want to disconnect his root with his/her ancestors. So I said to myself I am an African and I must connect with my ancestors. He believe in the torah and I decided to go my African way instead of affiliating myself to any foreign religions on our continent. In anything he teaches, I try to find out whether we have similar idea in the African tradition. It was amazing that I found a lot of similarities between the Hebrew Tradition and my African Tradition. I choose to go my African way but I will never stop learning under RABBI Philj Alcide. He is a great Teacher. I am glad to meet you in my journey of life. You have contributed immensely to who I am today. Thank you.
