Songs can and may be interpeded many different ways. Just like spelling, canadian, american, frenchhhh, or spanish. Language is whatever, I can read french and understand it, can I speak it? Hell No. And I often dont. Is there a reason for that? A lot of them, one being my aversion to learning a second language due to effort, and a crummy education system. I once, in high school was failing a class. I decided to take a french course, because I did enjoy it, but honestly, being a french teacher was not easy. I remember elementry and our poor french teachers were not at all at peace in the classroom. I was not a instigator, or defender but people in the class drove them up the wall. In high school, if we took a general french course you ended up doing crosswords and word finds most of the time, Not really learning a damn thing. It was like a free class. So, forgive the diatrab, but yeah, I was failing a class, probably physics or something stupid, so I elected to take grade 11 or 12 french. I got sat in the class, with people who were more often than not, considered the Smart kids, and the principle at the time comes in, and says, you did not take the previous course, I cannot allow you to take this class. In front of everybody. I wanted to learn french, I was sitting there, but I was removed. And I left quietly. This song, when I think of it and hear it, I hear and see a lot of stuff. Crimson and Clover are colours, but they represent a lot too. I see a red mustang, and a green challenger on the highway, and their talking. If you drive, you know what I mean by Talking, politely, but hell why not, sometimes people talk with their cars. Mustangs were smaller and faster, could usually accelerate a bit better, but challengers on the highway could go faster with the greater weight keepin them on the road. And sometimes people converse with their rides, it isnt crazy, just a way to talk without rollin down the damn window and shouting at somebody. Because if yer goin 130-140 clicks an hour, you just cant hear a damn thing. So yahs talk, gently, on the highway that stuffs easy, especially with a clear road. Stuff happens on it, but most people remember it for what it was, and they leave it there. They dont carry it out of the car, and if they do people make an effort to understand, passengers are sometimes unaware the drivers really know one another, and are good friends. https://youtube/watch?v=hdhonK8NMm8
