Soon after Ray Rice was cut by the Baltimore Ravens on Monday as a result of video surfacing showing him knocking his now wife out, domestic assault survivors took to Twitter to explain why they did, or did not, leave their abuser. These stories were told using the hashtag “#WhyIStayed” or #WhyILeft. Apparently DiGiorno Pizzas Twitter account wasn’t paying attention and tweeted “#WhyIStayed You had pizza.” The company apologized quickly: “A million apologies. Did not read what the hashtag was about before posting.” LMFAO! Holy crap man... Id love to be a fly on the wall when someone goes to explain this one to the guys upstairs. (BTW And I dont know if the rest of the country doesnt get Jacks or Palermos, but how are these guys and Tombstone always on the top of the frozen pizza sales rankings? I mean, are people just that dumb that they like bad pizza or are we spoiled around here?)
