Sorry for posting so late, I got back not too long ago from an amazing night at UTA. But we will be going witnessing tomorrow. Meet in front of Rotunda at 10am to head to TCU. Tonight, I had the privilege of tag teaming sharing the Gospel with the BSM director Caitlyn who I have known for a long time. We spoke with Ferika, Sivwani, Azadeh, and Azadehs husband whom I have been trying to build a relationship with for a little over a month. They are Persians from Iran and they have been very faithful in coming to the BSM. About a month ago, Kaci Hannah and I got to share the Gospel through sharing Gods love through Jesus for us. They asked some very good questions and let us know that they are very interested in what we have to say. Tonight we spoke from John 14 on how Jesus is the way the truth and the life and no one can get to the Father expect through him. Again they asked very good questions like why does it say so many times the Son of God or the Father? We got to share a little bit about the Trinity with them in through which got to explain how Jesus is in fact God. They asked the difference between Catholic and Baptist, and we got to explain that we believe according to Scripture we are not saved by all the good things we do in Life, but only by grace. With this question we also got to explain what baptism is and how it is the first step of obedience when you become a Jesus Follower. They asked what is a follower of Jesus, and again we had the privilege of explaining. They are definitely hungry to know more. Im hoping that even though this was the last BSM meeting before Christmas break that they will continue coming next semester. To God be all the glory for all the marvelous things he has done and continues to do!!! Please continue to pray for them that the Holy Spirit would reign down and open up their heart to Christ.
