South Texas Weather Center Network Status Update First We would like to thank everyone for the support that you have given to your local area weather centers efforts. We have enjoy all the pictures & comments that you have shared with us and the community. Our entire staff of weather enthusiast who volunteer there time by providing their local area weather centers with fast and accurate weather updates,alerts & news want to thank you for every post like ,comment & picture that you have sent to them . Our new website is nearing completion and we hope to open enrollment soon to the South Texas Early warning alert system.The system will send emergency alerts & warnings directly to your email and or cell phone. Our efforts here at STWCN are financially supported by our sponsor at Republic Texas Dental in Pleasanton,Tx and by supporter donations.At the end of August We were in the negative again after paying expenses and want to thank the ER Nurse at STRMC who wishes to remain anonymous for her generous donation that allowed us once again to meet are monthly expenses. Karnes, Wilson Co (KWC) Established 6/9/13 Hit 100 Likes on 9/2 and they we want to thank everyone for their support.They have requested a possible expansion to include Bee County to their area. La Salle,Live Oak & Mc Mullen Co (LLMWC) Established 6/9/13 Hit 200 Likes on 9/2 and want to thank their supporters and look forward to sharing some beautiful brush country sunsets pictures from thier area with the community and affiliate centers.
