Stacy: Here is Tripp talking this morning. Today was the most I have ever heard him talk. I swear I tried to video for an hour and every time I put the camera down, he talked. It turned into a game. The whole family was laughing. He has just been so happy. We havent done anything today. It is nice having such a laid back day. We have done lots of stretches, worked on head control, following commands, etc. Even on vacation, we still make him do some therapy. He got a good shower this morning. Since we didnt have room for his bath chair, we had to get creative. I put on my bathing suit and sat in the tub with him. Then mom actually bathed him. We work good as a team. Lol And my grandma is doing pretty good. She has remembered all of our names this weekend. But I slept in an upstairs bedroom and mom slept with Tripp. Such a great lady! Anyway, I was so excited to sleep in this morning.,then at 6 oclock this morning I feel a presence. I open my eyes and there stood my grandma. She was unplugging my fan and getting a blanket for me. She said she was looking for her room and then thought I might be cold. She had on her pjs with her knee highs and shoes, carrying a bag and had a shower cap on her head. Anyone that had dealt with Alzheimers, knows that if you dont laugh, you will cry. And we had a gate at the bottom that she had to climb over. Anyway, we are going to the Kingdom Hall in the morning (where we worship) and if the weather is good, I want to take Tripp and mom mom to downtown Charleston. Tripp is such an on the go kind of kid. He gets it naturally. We love to go go go. I hope he sleeps as great for me as he did for mom last night. Thank you for all your prayers and support. Love you all.
