Story #811 Anonymous TALL DARK FIGURE Well, I noticed stories of the tall dark figure lately and Ill share mine. Back when I was younger, I saw this odd figure outside my grandmas house. This was when I was like between the ages of 5-9, I dont remember exactly how old I was. I was pretty young though. I noticed this figure outside my grandmas window between these to trees. It was a shadow figure. It didnt have a hat but was a very tall figure and it scared me. Then I ran to the back door to make sure it was locked but when I looked back outside the window it was gone. I still locked the back door and sat in the living room and watched tv. Still, I felt kind of weird all day. Then as time passed, I never saw it again until my eighth grade year; it was in my living room. One day, I came home it was dark. I showered. As I came out of the shower, I walked toward the laundry room to get my clothes in the dryer. I noticed something in the corner of my eye and I turned to see the figure once again, but this time in the middle of my living room! The hair on my body stood up and I felt a very dark presents or vibe from it. So I ran to my room and flipped the hallway light on and shut my room. I was shaking so hard and so scared. I called my mom from my cell phone. I didnt want to come out of my room until my mom came out of hers and came into mine. So naturally we prayed and smudged our house, prayed with our traditional yellow pollen and It felt better after that. Still to this day as young as I am, I dont go out or stay out late anymore. Im scared to be outside when its dark but what I saw was the tall dark figure. It was pretty dark but you could like make out shapes like the couch and stuff, but when I saw this tall figure in the middle of my living room, I knew it wasnt good. It was like giving off a weird dark vibe that scared me. So was it a figment of my imagination or was there really something there? That Ill leave up to you but I believe it was something telling me I better straighten up or its gonna-take-me-type thing. IDK but it was very scary. After that I never seen it again, changed my ways and still hoping I dont see it again.
