Summertime Soaring: militaryaviationmuseum.org/summer-camp_2014.html The Tidewater Soaring Society gives students at the Military Aviation Museum a taste of unpowered flight, at the annual #Warbirds & Wings summer day-camp. From 14-18 July, 2014, participants will learn how factors such as lift, drag, thrust and weight affect flight, as well as the history of aviation. Two field trips, including a visit to The Fighter Factory, will be a part of the weeks activities. The final day will feature a picnic, with games and prizes.
