Supernatural Peace Shall Guard Your Life! Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life. (Philippians 4:6, 7 MSG) The Kingdom of God consists of righteousness, joy and peace in the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:17). The Devil desires nothing more than to rob you of this Kingdom commodity which is your inheritance in Christ Jesus. His primary strategy is to instill fear and anxiety in our hearts and minds. The promise of Scripture is that Peace of God stands as a sentinel to prevent fear from penetrating and prevailing against us! We must realize that there are prerequisites to walk in the peace of God: For starters, worry is an act of our volition according to the Bible. Therefore, we must choose NOT to worry. If you have already gone there, retreat! There are two basic human emotions: love and fear. Satan capitalizes on fear and God love. Perfect love drives out fear! Rather than fear, start presenting your petitions and requests to God. Remember: you have not because you ask not (James 4:2). As the old hymn says, tell Him all about your troubles. But, dont stop there! Begin to praise Him that He is bigger and better than anything. He is Creator, everything and everyone else is creation. Keep worshipping and thanking the Lord for bringing the breakthrough. No matter what happens in the natural, the peace of God will still garrison your heart [emotional stability] and maintain your mind [mental equilibrium]. When fear comes knocking on your door, dont let it in! Begin to raise your praise and see fear flee in Jesus name! Sign up for our daily devotional Supernatural Living @ awakenations.org
