Supports Pursell I support Aaron Pursell for mayor. It is time to place the leadership of our community in the hands of a younger generation and with someone who hasn’t been tainted by the coal plant fiasco. Mayor Michael Winters has done some positive things for Great Falls, but being mayor isn’t one of them. Winters has been long on pomp and short on substance. He has not been open to listening to the voice of the people, and he has often ridiculed citizens who appear at City Commission meetings, myself included. Our city would currently be in a much stronger financial position if Winters and former Mayors Dona Stebbins and Randy Gray would have listened to justifiable concerns repeatedly raised by members of the public about the coal plant and Electric City Power. Pursell is committed to seeking public input regarding controversial matters.
