Suspected Patriotic Front (PF) cadres caused a near stir In Masala Township accusing Ndola District Commissioner Rebby Chanda of being corrupt for failing to resolve the land dispute between businessman, Khalif Abdihodan Abudullahi and Remmy Musosha; both of whom claim ownership to a said piece of land in the township. The cadres alleged that Khalif had acquired land illegally, was encroaching on Mr. Musosha’s land and the district commissioner was not doing enough to protect the latter from the former because Mr. Chanda is corrupt. The charged that due to Khalif’s filling station, a bus stop’s that was supposed to be where the filing station is has not been constructed, adding that the said businessman burst a water pipe that was laid by Kafubu Water and Sewerage Company, causing erratic a water supply to Masala Township. Mr.Chanda, Khalif, Mr. Musosha and Ndola City Council officials today were on site at the controversial spot to try and draw a conclusion to the matter. By press time, the issue had not yet been resolved.
