TFB’s Indi Boer goes QUEEN OF THE MOUNTAIN (QOM) on 4 out of the - TopicsExpress

TFB’s Indi Boer goes QUEEN OF THE MOUNTAIN (QOM) on 4 out of the 5 sectors of the Thredbo FLOW track on a single descent. Yesterday afternoon, she nailed sectors 1,4,5 & last run as well. Here is a clip of her bolting off like a jack rabbit from a spot just above the bridge, where we had stopped to wait for a slower rider (that ruled out sector 3) Sector 4 & 5 are after the bridge and Last Run is a mad, extended version of sector 5. In this clip she belts all 3 of them and goes QOM comfortably in all. You go girl!!! We were building nicely until the rain came. Just before the heavens opened this morning, I belted Last Run like never before (as part of a PB full race simulation run) and went another 5 seconds quicker than this video (312). That now has me equal 8th outright on Last Run out of over 500 efforts. Indis QOM time (317) has her equal 18th out of over 500. When we race tomorrow though, it will be a different ball game totally I am afraid. Mud bunny paradise and he-or-she who stays on for an entire (fast-ish) run will be in with a big chance of picking up a cannon ball....... Please note- “Last Run” data discounts the “I’m having a lend of myself on Strava” outright KOM that some bloke has left up, which (rather randomly) has him some 6 seconds ahead of Crimmo (thanks to a dodgy, Strava-induced start point). I can’t believe people leave that shit up – particularly when every other section on that bloke’s ‘KOM’ run is about a week slower than Crimmo. Or maybe he just instantly became one of the best riders in Australia out of the blue when he hit that sector? It’s embarrassing. Rog off soap box now :)
